Strivers' Hub is a collaboration between the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and The Asia Foundation to digitalise and support the growth of 100,000 MSMEs in Malaysia, with a particular focus on women-owned and women-led businesses.
Why this platform exists
Digital drives growth
Digitalisation is the primary enabler of revenue growth and job creation for Malaysian MSMEs.
Support is scattered
Malaysian MSMEs cannot fully use the public and private support available to them, because that support landscape is confusing, overlapping and contradictory.
A heavier load
Women-led MSMEs face heavier constraints — caregiving responsibilities, limited access to financing and technology, lower confidence with digital tools — and yet they are a primary driver of the economy.
We close the gap Malaysian women entrepreneurs meet on the way to going digital.
That means the right tools, networks and resources — ordered around where a business actually is, not one course handed to everybody.
